born on November 25, 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is dynamic Canadian actress and singer celebrated by her outstanding contribution to American television. Her name is well-known for her superb performances in the American television series Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. She also put her acting abilities shown in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. In the films, she showcased her co-directing and writing capabilities. Hennessy began her career in 1988, alongside her sister in the role of twin call girls in Dead Ringers. She briefly appeared in Buddy The Buddy Holly Story The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. In 1993, the actress made her way out of musicals and into the sci-fi genre as Doctor. Marie Lazarus. Her big break came after the season ended, when she was cast as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. Her performance captivated viewers in the character for three seasons before her departure in 1996. Parker played in films that included RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and Boys on the Side. The actress was awarded a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her work in the series. Parker won the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway Production Proof.
