Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born in Canada and is well-known among Canadians for her role as an Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te enamores. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. Montreal born, she spent her early years in Texas. As a little girl she started to train in different forms of dancing. At the age 15 she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained notoriety during 2008, when she was a guest in Nuestra Belza Latina's 2nd season, a Univision beauty contest series. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist for the Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. Toubia was in the 2015 action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
